Hey guys. Over the weekend I purchased a like new Poulan Pro chainsaw at a yard sale for a song. The owner said they couldn't get it started. I've found that smallenginepartswarehous.com has online parts manuals for Poulan saws, however they are divided by 'type numbers', for example to find a diagram for a model 2155 you would have to know whether its a type 1,2,3,4, or 5. Is this information on the manufacturer's sticker on the saw? How do I go about determining which 'type' my saw is? |

If you need carb parts get the walbro number off of the carb (ie WA24 etc) and order a kit for it. As far as some of the parts and the types I am not sure, so far all my parts for my poulans have worked fine. | [Log in to Reply][No Email] |

Appears 1-4 are the same build except make of carb.Type 5 uses same chassis, but may be different engine build. | [Log in to Reply][No Email] |
